Can I create a Form on Stanford Domains?

University IT provided Form Builder tools such as Google Forms, Qualtrics. We encourage you to use these two platforms since it is well integrated with our Single SignOn. If you have a WordPress website hosted on Stanford Domains, you can create Contact Forms, Event Forms, Questionnaire Forms easily with the WP Form, Ninja Form, or C7 Contact Form. Here are few basic steps:

• Install Ninja Plugins (Plugins, Add Plugin, Search for “Nija Form”, Click on Install and Activate the plugin.
• Build your Ninja Form (NinJa Form, Dashboard, Add New, Select desire template (ie., Questionnaire), Made some changes, Click done).
• Add your Ninja Form on your pages, or posts (by adding a block and select Ninja Form, Select you Ninja Form you created.

When the users go to your Form (page), and click on submit button, both you and user will receive an email with all the information the users provided. WP and Nija Form free version doesn’t store the form information to a database (and export to a csv file). If you want the information stored in the database and export to a csv file, you would need to buy the premium version. The C7 Contact Form (free version) can store the information to a database and export to csv file.

It is important that you should always add Recaptcha on any form you created. This will prevent websites from spam and abuse.
